After a week of overnight stays as we traveled west on I-40 from NC and camping in lower Utah, we finally headed north on I-15 toward Yellowstone. When we found the Fillmore KOA in Fillmore, Utah it was like finding an oasis in the desert, literally. It is an old KOA site with lots of mature trees that has really been brought back to life by the new family owners and the family members who run it, and it shows it is family run. Good TV if you're interested and good cell phone & internet access. Really great to be helped by the daughter of the owners who showed us to our site. Best RV campground we've had in the last 2 weeks.

This is my new favorite KOA park. Every aspect of the park deserves 5 stars (or more). The staff are super friendly. The sites are level with lush green grass between each site. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Plenty of shade. Far enough away from the highway that you can't hear the noise of passing trucks, but close enough to everything that you can get gas, food, etc. within 5 minutes. We loved this place.
We found this facility to be neat, clean & beautiful. We also discovered that a few of the restaurants close by would deliver to the campground. 5Bucks Pizza was really good at great price.
The camp grounds were immaculate, the check I was fast and welcoming and we were led to our campsite and attendant was there to answer any questions we had and showed us the setup. This is one of the nicest RV campgrounds we have stayed and hope we have a chance to come back
Frankly, it's difficult for me to rate anything 5 stars. It's just the way I roll. However, I had no problem doing it here. The facilities were spotless and I mean clean! Pool was small but in good shape and had a hot tub. Nice dog walk with lush green grass, fenced and a place for you to sit while they play. Gravel pads with grass, shade trees and picnic tables in between. Plenty of room to maneuver. I have a 34' class-A with slide out, had lots of room. Only overnighted but would have no issues... Only overnighted but would have no issues staying longer. They were hosting a ATV/UTV Jamboree at the time, I guess there are hundreds of miles of local trails. Might have to return sometime and check it out.

One of the nicest KOAs we have stayed. Owners are nice, helpful people, on site. Well maintained and manicured. Sites are wide and long with grassy areas and shade trees. So clean that even the trash dumpsters lids are clean. And quiet!
