We camped one nigh in Jasper National Park at the Wabasso Campground for one night during the second week of September 2019. Wabasso is a few miles off the Icefields Parkway, but not difficult to drive to at all. Its located along the beautiful Athabasca River. This is a popular campground, reservations are recommended. We easily checked in and found out campsite. For $24.65 (USD) we had a beautiful wooded campsite and 30 amp electric. Dry camping and full hookups are available too. For an additional fee (about $6 USD) you can get a campfire burn permit with firewood provided. There are public restrooms and showers available that were clean and in good repair. This was a great camping experience a quiet night in the woods. Beautiful! If you’re camping in Jasper, this may be a great choice for you. We’ll be back!
