We found this campground to be a great find and will be coming back. We stayed Columbus weekend and was happy to see the campground was decorated beautifully for Halloween. The office staff could not have been nicer.

Very lovely park. We enjoyed being up above it all. Lot's to see and do both in the area and in the park. We were there Labor Day weekend and even with the crowd, it was great. Sites can be pretty small and we had a tough time backing into ours because of the angle and the time of day. In another review, someone made a comment that it was difficult to know when things were open. I would definitely agree with that. The laundry room could also use an upgrade. I am a long time visitor of the area and a regular visitor at Interlake. Historically I have the lost glowing reviews of Interlake of its staff, grounds, facilities and overall experience. It was brought to my attention during my recent visit, that the previous owners had retired and a new management company (AOS) was hired by the new owners to run the park. After my visit, it makes much sense that the operation not only changed hands but is being run into the ground. The property is not being maintained correctly. There are no set hours as to when the facilities in the park are open ie the snack bar and office. I have never in my life as a traveling camper experienced a staff at a park that has ruined a beautiful park to visit. It is unfair to rate this park as a 10 as new owners and management have taken over and not have lived up to the expectations that previously were. I advise that you look further into this park prior to your stay. They are putting people on sites that are ill equipped for your camper. This never happened in the past. If I could give 0 stars I would. It so sad how far this park has fallen from what it was in a very short span. Very poorly managed. I’ve never ever encountered mean people (staff) at any campground in the United States but this one.

We have camped here for at least 3 years, as of 2019 we became seasonal campers here, and we are returning for 2020. The campsites are not to close together. The campgrounds are always clean and well maintained, the office staff are very friendly and helpful. They have different celebration during the season, and a movie night and a Bingo night every week. It is a quiet, friendly and relaxing place.

This was a lovely park. Good roads and mostly level sites. Very helpful office staff. Wonderful area to explore. Good wifi . Poor phone service. Very clean, well kept. Sites were not too close together.

Interlake is absolutely spotless. I assumed there was a crew of people taking care of the property, turns out its only 3 or so. The heated pool is a comfortable 80 degrees and the kiddie pool was perfect for our young daughter. I can't believe how clean and cared for this campground is. Our spot was spacious and easy to back into. If you go, just be careful, your GPS will want to put you on the Taconic Parkway which is a no go for trailers and RVs.
