I have stayed at Locust Lake multiple times and it is such a nice State Park! Large lake for boating, fishing, or swimming at their beach area. Multiple trails for hiking. Nice camp store with many supplies and ice cream! Playground located throughout the park. Areas designated as pet friendly. This place is PERFECT for a family or those with a dog(s)! Bathrooms are overall pretty clean. Biggest issue I had during my last trip was that the hot water was out in the nearest shower house, so I had to walk to another one - they were working on it while we were there (these things happen, so not knocking them to much!). Definitely would recommend!
