I would leave a negative 5 review if it was possible. The Good Sam reviewers for this campground need to be fired! Although it appears that the staff tries to keep this campground clean, it is a refuge for the homeless and drug addicts. Based on the Good Sam rating 9/9.5/8, and my Good Sam membership, I booked a reservation via email at the I10 Kampground in Mobile Alabama. This is the worst campground I have been to in the last thirty years hypodermic needles in the men's room, the front office... Read More

This is the worst campground I have been to in the last thirty years hypodermic needles in the men's room, the front office was closed at 1 and 2 PM (even though the office sign says open 8 AM to 6 PM), half the showers and toliets were out of order and gunshots started at the campground at 2 PM. Because my husband and I feared for our life and didn’t want hepatitis (or worse), we left the campground. Hopefully, Good Sam will read this and refund our money.

If I could leave a zero rating I would. Don't be fooled by the pictures on their website or on the Good Sam site because they took a picture of the first few sites they have concrete pads on and the rest of them are dumps. So many full-time trailer trash here and listen after being full-time for two and a half years and stayed in many different campgrounds, if you're going to have low hanging trees over a site then you better well have escorts taking you to the site. Our site is not what we chose,... Read More

Our short-term stay at this park surprised us. We reserved our stay days in advance of our arrival. We were assured that they would have facilities for our big rig. We do not require resort facilities and only require 50amp and water hookups, with sewer or availability of a dump site and a reasonably level site, so our needs are minimal. The picture of the RV park on the website is not indicative of the majority of the park, but is of the very few sites near the office that would provide a clean...

The picture of the RV park on the website is not indicative of the majority of the park, but is of the very few sites near the office that would provide a clean and well maintained picture. 90% of the other sites do not come close to those standards. We were directed to a segment of the park that does not even exist on the RV Park map. It is not the only new addition not on the map. We do not require a pull-thru site, but the friendly scheduler in the office pointed out the streets and indicated that this was an easily accessible pull-thru site with full hookups. She was correct about the full 50 amp hookups. She had a member of the maintenance staff in a golfcart guide us in and he offered to take me back to preview the site, but he was not observing COVID-19 guidelines. He pointed out that there was "plenty of room" to back it in. I am not normally leery of back-in sites, having had years of experience backing trailers, but the narrow unpaved street between the two rows of units was concerning. After several attempts to back into the site, adjusting many times between vehicles and trailer hitches on the other side of the narrow street, we finally got it into the space, then we took several attempts to work the fifth-wheel laterally back and forth over to the hookup facilities. The road behind the sites, as pointed out in the office, was really just a narrow alley that a large rig could not negotiate into any of those spaces. The alley, like much of the non-road areas of the park, were covered in leaves, not just from this early season, but from last years season as well. By the time I got us level, the kingpin was at eye level to me and I'm six feet tall. I have never had so much of my front trailer legs extended for a stay. The site was not long enough for our unit. Most of the residents are long-time full-time residents and their streets are not adequately graded and maintained. I would not feel secure walking around the park after dark as there was insufficient security lighting throughout the park. Except for the streets near the office, the other streets were narrow, turns were tight, and navigation was nerve wracking. This was easily the worst Good Sam experience we've ever had as long-time multiyear Good Sam members. We could not wait to get on the road again. This will be an easy park to avoid the next time we pass through this area.

I am so glad that we put this on our plan to stay here. Since the first time we turned in off the main road I knew that this was going to be a place worth staying at. The grounds were kept up, the sites were clean. The pictures do not do this place justice. Its quite, peaceful, and safe. We have traveled to a lot of resorts and rarely do you find a place as clean as this. I think what has made it so wonderful for us was the staff. The staff here are always eager to help in any way. Overall it was a very nice stay. Owner checked us in and was very friendly. He checked in onus in the morning as well. Clean Park and you can tell he's updating the park. New fences, new pads, etc.... would stay here again.

We had a very nice stay in this park. It is under new ownership and is in the middle of renovation. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Thank you to them! We stayed in one of the 5 overnight pull-throughs at the front for several days but did not use any of the facilities so could not rate them.

WOW I wish I could post pictures! How did this get 3 star average? We have been traveling the country and have never seen a park like this. Thank goodness we are only here 2 nights. Let me try to paint a picture...it is 90% filled with permanent residents. I have seen toilets outside, our neighbor came out and propped up his slide with cylinder blocks and wood, all of the RVs are filthy with moss, the guy next to us actually caulked his slide seal (meaning he does not pull his slide in), there... I have seen toilets outside, our neighbor came out and propped up his slide with cylinder blocks and wood, all of the RVs are filthy with moss, the guy next to us actually caulked his slide seal (meaning he does not pull his slide in), there is trash EVERYWHERE. There are RVs with tarps on the roof. There are NO RV's worth more than $500 here. We have never seen anything like it, its almost comical, and we have stayed at cheap RV parks before, but never that looked like this! We are sticking out like a sore thumb and we aren't even in an expensive RV, ours is just an 80k toy hauler! The vehicles all have different color paint jobs/pieces. The water smells weird. It really couldn't get worse than this. We aren't picky, but this is the kind of place you would expect to see fist fights and meth labs, its bad, really bad. For some reason our neighbor has trail cameras mounted all over his RV, not sure if there is theft here or why he has it. These RV's have not moved in years, no joke. We paid $27 a night. I would not recommend you coming here unless you are looking for a dump. This is a straight up trailer park, not RV campground. I wish you could see the pictures... After traveling through 28 states, this is the worst we have ever seen (and we do try to keep the campground cost under $50 a night so we aren't spoiled).

The few people we did see in the a.m. We're very friendly Did not use restrooms or pool so can not comment. Will definitely be stopping there again.

I gave it a one star because it was a place to stop and sleep. Good Sam may need to visit this camp ground if they haven't. The bathrooms were not very clean and very run down also the painted walls and floors in the showers were peeling off. The shower heads needed replacing. My husband went to the bathrooms the next morning and the person who was cleaning the bathrooms was only spraying bleach every where and not wiping anything down and or rinsing off the bleach. My husband went to the bathrooms the next morning and the person who was cleaning the bathrooms was only spraying bleach every where and not wiping anything down and or rinsing off the bleach. The area was very dark that night, not much lighting in the camp ground. Our spot was near the bathrooms, but it was mostly sand and dirt where we were camped. It had been raining so it was very hard to keep from tracking in the dirt, I think some gravel should be added to the camp spots and it did look really run down and not kept nice. I hope Good Sam will go take a look and make some changes to be part of their facilities. I would not recommend this camp ground to any one.

I stayed at the kampground 2 separate nights passing through. I had brake problems and had to leave my motorhome in Theodore for repair, so stayed one night before going in the shop and one night when I picked it up.The owner was very friendly and helpful in recommending a repair shop and restaurants. I did not use the restroom facilities so cannot comment on those. The pool looked nice. Shady, level lot. Many long term campers, but they were mainly in a separate area. Free cable. Nothing fancy... We pulled in here for an overnighter as it is about 1/2 mile off of I-10. The road noise is there but we were not bothered by it. Ok - The office person was very nice and we had a pull through, fairly level space. That's where it ends. The pool looks good from a distance, we did not get close. The pictures here do not accurately reflect this park. It appears they put the overnighters and short termers in the front - which is fine. Walking through the rest of the park, it also appears it... Walking through the rest of the park, it also appears it is 90 % full timers. That would be ok if they kept up their sites. There are many that are broken down and with clutter all around them. Upon checking in the only info we were given was a white sheet of paper with the WiFi access, which was limited, and the cable channels, which did not come through. The bathroom facilities were fairly clean, but old and tired. I am not sure the last time this park was visited by a Good Sam person, but they need to come again. We are of the opinion this was once a nice park. We can only think the owner chooses not to invest any money to keep it up and bring it to true Good Sam standards. We travel in a 5th wheel.

Overall an ok little overnight park. Bumpy roads, narrow gravel sites, a good bit of road noise, but not enough to keep me awake at night. Very friendly staff and a good price. Convenient to the Freeway, a recommended stopover if you're passing by.
