There is a $6.00 charge for any guest to enter the park. I understand a charge if your guest uses the any of the campground facilities or stays overnight, but charging for someone to just visit seems greedy.

We stayed at this park late in the season and did not use any of the lake facilities. The park is in the glide path for the Portland Airport and you could hear planes. This is not a real bad problem but it might be an issue to some. The park was easily accessible and the space was open with not trees. There are many sites that have heavy trees but was not a problem for our stay. The access to downtown Portland was easy. The park was well maintained.

Stayed six nights here. Staff is very friendly. Convenient location for shopping and access to Portland attractions. Many long term or year around units here. Good for families and activities for kids. Most sites in the pine and cedar trees with sandy ground. Concern is the dropping pitch and sap from the trees. If it rains, it is very difficult to keep floor clean. Some sites are grassy without the trees but we didn't get one of these. Probably would stay here again if we were to return to the... Read More

We drove in without a reservation. We were able to get a back-in spot. We were placed in a vacant spot in what appeared to be the seasonal (permanent) resident area. Actually, the majority of the campsite looked to be more permanent residents than those just traveling thru. The spots are very close together and felt claustrophobic. My husband went to the bath house and counted 12 spiders just in one stall area. After a night of noise from the next door permanent resident (after quiet hours) and... Read More

There is also an airport nearby, so planes are constantly flying low over the campground.

Stayed there a few years ago with a 37 ft Class A. Returned 2 days ago with a larger Class A, - big mistake!!! No room to turn or manouvre. Had to stay in the overflow area but still charged for full hookup. Management seems to have changed from our last stay. Dealt with some young, (no-people-skills-young-man). Said he was the owners son. No help at all. Will never go back!
