cleanliness and physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
This was an unusual RV Park, but awesome. We called while on the road and were lucky to be able to be in a river spot. Its all cement, so leveling was a piece of cake. The sites were long enough so we were able to stay connected to our truck as we were only staying one night. We would recommend this park, and if our travels take us there, we will definitely stay there again.Very clean, safe, and nice staff. Thank you!
Just stopping on our way south...AWESOME place to spend the night. Spectacular views of the river, downtown, and especially the lighted bridges at night!! Just hooked up to electricity and heading out in the morning. Will stop again for sure when we have more time to explore Little Rock. Wifi seems a bit weak...
This is right along the river and was very clean for the location. The bridges lite up at dark and the old railroad bridge you can walk on. This is right by the Clinton library which we didn't know til we got there.
sites easy to get into and out. Pretty plain jane, basically just a paved lot. Sites on the river have a cool view but the others, not so much. Nice walk across bridge into River Marketplace area. Would stay here again when passing this way.
An RV park downtown and right on the river! This is a city owned park and the staff was great, we were having some issues with mail (sender end, not receiver end) and they were so helpful. Easy in and out park. The entire park is gravel with an asphalt loop road, the only grass is right along the river, where they have picnic tables and benches to enjoy the view of the city. There is traffic noise from the highway, but inside the RV it wasn't bad. There is access to the Clinton Presidential Walking Bridge, that takes you to the door of the Clinton Library and Museum and the rest of downtown. Get trolley passes at the office and explore to your heart's content. Sites were level with full hook-ups and plenty long enough for our 37-foot RV and tow-dolly. WiFi was spotty but our Verizon signal was strong. They have bathrooms and laundry but didn't use either. We stayed July 11 - 16, 2016. We paid 25.08 a night with our Passport America discount.
It is a great place to stay for a night. It is a parking lot but has a nice view by the river. Also they have a gate that is closed at night. They will give you a code to get in and out. I did not use there restrooms.
Made a reservation a few days before our arrival.
It was a little odd to get to but directions on the site were accurate.
The site and bathrooms were clean.
Very convenient access to Little Rock by going over the Bill Clinton Bridge which had access through a personal door to get out of the park.
Nothing stood out being outstanding from a good or bad perspective. I would defiantly stay again.
We stayed 6 nights (4 nights to see the area & 2 nights to wait out a storm).
The park is near I-30 (Exit 141B: US-70, Broadway Av) but there is very little noise from the Interstate. The park is located between the flood wall and the Arkansas River in a commercial area so the streets are congested. There are narrow gates to get through the flood wall. For being in a commercial area, there isn’t many services near the park. The Southbound I-30 on ramp is difficult to use during the daily commute hours.
The interior roads are paved. The sites & parking pads were gravel. The Riverview pull through sites were long enough for coaches and their toads attached. The pull-in/back-in sites along the outer edge (Riverside & Riverpark) were long enough as long as the RV was parked to allow for the extra vehicle. The sites were generally level. Not much privacy between the sites as they are very close to each other. The sites are set up to share the common area between them. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. No outside table or fire pit.
There are some trees that could make satellite reception hit and miss depending on site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 10 broadcast channels. Didn’t have much luck getting any broadcast channels.
The provided WiFi was poor as it kept dropping connection or was difficult to make connection. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Our NET10 phone reception was acceptable.
No designated fenced pet area but there was sufficient to walk dogs along the park roads and the adjacent Arkansas River Trail. There were some bag dispensers and cans stations along the river trail to collect waste.
For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter.
It was nothing special but would stay here again if we returned to visit the area attractions as it was centrally located with easy access.
In my opinion, this is one of those parks you would stay at if you just needed an overnight along the interstate OR you are specifically going to be spending your time offsite "doing" Little Rock. If "doing" Little Rock is your itinerary then this place is excellent! It is basically a gravel parking lot that sits right on the Arkansas River but it is VERY convenient to downtown and all its attractions and very convenient to the interstates. You can actually walk across the bridge and be at the Clinton Presidential Library. Also, you can access the River Trail from this park. From the Rv park you see the Little Rock skyline and at night the bridges crossing the river are lighted. It's a cool persecutive at night. We did not use the facilities so can't comment on those. My guess is that this park is best for motor homes and 5th wheels which use their own facilities. There is a place to walk dogs along the river. We would stay here again to visit the area but not just to hang out for the sake of "camping". We are traveling in a 40' 5th wheel with 2 dogs.
Had reservations but when we arrived our site was occupied. Office manager said she "forgot" about our reservation and offered a discounted stay on a site our motor home wouldn't fit in. She was not helpful and unapologetic about her error. It was all for the better as the "park" was horrible. It looks like a city vehicle impound lot and that's being nice (chain link fenced asphalt parking lot). Bathrooms are in a trailer. I'd pass on this one.
