This is one of the nicest KOA's I have stayed in. Staff warm and welcoming. We stayed in a deluxe pull thru site that was long and wide enough. This came with a concrete patio and a functional BBQ grill, with a tank of propane and a side for charcoal and a picnic table. The restroom shower rooms are individual private rooms and the facility was sparkling bright and clean. I would recommend this park to anyone and would go back myself if in the area. The only negative to the park is its entrance which requires an approach from the south as from the north a median prohibits a left hand turn into the park. The road at the next light to the south is to small to make a u-turn. The website should point this out as we had to wander a bit in residential areas trying to approach from the south.

Only did a one night stay. Road signage was obscured and didn't see entrance until we had driven past. Registration parking area was open, registration went smoothly. We were escorted to our campsite which was helpful. Roadways were tight in areas so missing our turn on our own and doing a turnaround could have been difficult. Campsite length was "just right" for our camper and tow vehicle. Narrow too, but we had a patio and picnic table so it was "family friendly".

Dallas KOA is a very nice park, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. On arrival, the turn in off Cooper Rd is extremely tight then you are directed to park by arrows for check in. Check in is easy and everything was already prepared for our booking. From there you are escorted to your pad on paved roads making arrival easy. The pads themselves are somewhat narrow with gravel pad site, and the supplied picnic table was not really usable as our slide almost touched the seat on that side. There... Read More

There was only about 10 feet between us and our neighbor, with power, water, cable and sewer in that space. It rained for the whole time we were there so never actually needed the space. Overall, we recommend this park but it is in the Metropolis of the Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth area and traffic on Cooper Rd is that of a major city. That said, traffic noise was never heard. The park itself is very nice with very good facilities, pool, kiddies play area, pavilion and large and small dog bark parks. Also the park has a gated access with personal codes for after 6 pm.
