The campground is located in the north woods in the middle of some of the best scenery New hampshire has to offer.
The Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The campground has a wilderness feel with accommodations for RVs
The sites are spacious grass covered with wooded areas to separate the sites. Wood was available across the street at the office
The campground is close to everything the great north woods has to offer. We went hiking, fishing, canoeing/ kayaking, exploring waterfalls and more
This is by far one of our favorite campgrounds and would highly recommend it to other campers
Just returned from 4 nights at Buck Rub's Hidden Acres as a first time visitor and had a blast! The sites are so large and private with green grass, shade and water/electric. Love the staff - friendly and helpful. Quite a few happy ATV campers as the ATV trail access (closed at night) is on the far side of the campground. The Buck Rub Pub is a short walk across the street for meals and cocktails. I liked that it is not a huge place, not a lot of traffic within the campground (and everybody had a friendly wave). Bathroom was clean with 2 stalls and a shower. So much to do around the area - we fished in Round Pond and East Inlet, went to Garfield Falls (spectacular) and checked out a local antique shop. Saw moose and deer - Fun and relaxing ! Will be back again soon, my kind of camping with just enough luxury, privacy and not commercialized.
