The correct phone number for reservations is (325) 215-3108. I took a chance and just drove in off-season. I found the phone number posted outside the office. The lady was really nice and took my reservation over the phone. It was easy to park. The Wi-Fi is good. There are campfire pits and smokers at each site. I don't know about the bath house because I use my own.

The site was nice and quiet just what we needed in this busy world. The site was clean and maintained with a picnic table and fire pit at every site. Nice big spots for big rigs.

This RV park is recovering from catastrophic flooding. The owners have it well on the way back to full functionality. Do not hesitate to book a site. We had full hook ups, a beautiful view of the river and the restrooms were not only immaculately maintained, but very comfortably designed and laid out. We were just overnighting on our way to Austin, TX, but we will stay again the next time we are in the area. We would like to enjoy the river and this park. By the way, the folks in Junction were... The Good: When this park is completed it will be a fantastic destination for families. Still under construction. Cabins on site. Was concerned re highway noise but not a factor. Best thought out restrooms of any park I have stayed in. Abuts river and city park next door. Very large facility. There will be many RV slots facing the river. Camp hosts are great. Some of the most accommodating I have found. Summer river wading and swimming. Limited store but all the basics. Same owners have... Read More

Some of the most accommodating I have found. Summer river wading and swimming. Limited store but all the basics. Same owners have the North Llano RV park. The bad: cable did not work well. TV antenna not usable due to location. Will be a hike once this park is completed from the north side to the office. The ugly: None noted

Note, directions in Good Sam book are very unclear. The map on page 1118 shows Hwy 401, spent 15 mins driving around looking for that. It correctly should be labeled Hwy 481. Additionally Cedar Creek Road does not have any signage. The camp is right after you cross the S. Llano River bridge. Few amenities, great quiet location. Expansion in process will make this a delightful place to stay. Gracious on-site hosts, take pride in their work.

We stayed 1 night passing through the area. The park had just opened this year. It didn't look complete. The new buildings were the cabins & bathhouse. The park appears to be on the flood plain. There was some heavy equipment parked between the sites and the river which degraded the view. The park is a few miles from I-10 (Exit 457: FM-2169) along a 2 lane rural road in pretty good condition. Accessing the park requires a short drive along a gravel road that pitches down. The sites are a mixture of back-ins along the edges and P/T's in the center. Several sites along the outer edge of the park appear to be long term. The interior roads and site parking pads are compacted gravel. They are slightly elevated. The interior roads are wide and turns were easily negotiated. But after a rain, there was pooled water on the roads. The P/T sites were long enough for coaches & their toads. This park understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level. Distance establishes privacy between the sites. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. Only a few sites had an outside table but there were no fire pits. There are a few trees scattered along the flat & level sites so satellite reception would be dependent upon site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 36 cable channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was good. But only a few of the sites were occupied. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception. The designated fenced pet areas were adequate to exercise a dog. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. There weren't bag dispensers and waste collection stations in the park but there was a dumpster at the park's entrance to dispose of waste. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. Although it was nothing special, we would stay here again if the need arose while traveling through the area.
