Appeal Rating We loved our stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of their way anytime you needed something. We arrived on January 1st (stayed nearly 2 weeks) to find the park was serving free pizza to the guests in their cozy rec room. The rec room included a large community kitchen, pool table, tv lounge and the family style bathrooms. The bathrooms were large and clean with lots of hooks and places to put your shower items. They have a pool (closed this time of year) and a nice hot tub that we used often. We did a lot of star gazing from that tub!The park itself is a bunch of gravel sites, but they were the largest we have come across with enough room for two large vehicles plus your camper. There were a lot of full timers here, which may be off-puting to some-- but they were so friendly and welcoming, polite and quiet - it was truly a wonderful experience to live among the residents. The facility allows mail packages, and would even deliver to your site if they were out and about. Safford/Thatcher is a working-class town, but the restaurants we went to offered awesome and creative dishes with high quality ingredients. There are bike paths conveniently located next to the RV park as well as hiking paths. Additionally, there are a ton of hikes available at the adjacent Mount Graham. There is also a nice golf course only 3 miles down, on the same street. Overall, we truly enjoyed starting 2021 with these folks and would put it at the top of our favorite experiences.

Appeal Rating This park was OK but nothing special. The price was good and we only needed a place for one night.
