WORST PLACE WITH A GOOD SAM SIGN-ENDORSEMENT POSSIBLE DOES NOT RATE 1 STAR! Arrived about 9 AM - Unfriendly, uncaring, attendant! Un-prepared to accept drive in guest, not knowing if they had vacancy or not. After waiting an extended period of time - attendant made several phone calls, then finally began to check the computer, not once did he make me feel welcomed or interested in accommodating us. Finally, I would estimate more than 30 minutes waiting - FULL HOOK UP - Pull through site... Read More

Needed SPACE for a Motorhome to park next to me in same site! Water --- not allowed to hook up at all, must fill tanks and use from them - $150 charge for any damages to water system if you hooked up! Lots of permanent residents, park was far from what all advertisement and endorsements stated in various publications - Travel Lincoln County Nevada, BLM, Good Sam, etc. Icing on the cake and I Quote -- Stay the "hxxL" out of Nevada- go back to California - you are not welcome in this state" AVOID PICKETT'S RV PARK - ALAMO -

This was my 4th stay at Picketts. This time was just overnight. Staff are very friendly and efficient, they even have our pets names saved. Park is not too far from the highway and at the back of the Sinclair truck stop, so there is some noise, but not enough to disturb us at night. Sites are level and a mixture of pull through and back in. The pull throughs are long enough for my 40' MH with toad attached. Sadly on this trip, I noticed the nearby Mexican Restaurant is closed down, looks like it... Read More

I would recommend reservations during the spring and fall snowbird season as this is a popular overnight stop.

Just overnighted at this park, Drone view is pretty much right on. Gravel, but not enough traffic to matter. Right behind Sinclair which had the cheapest diesel around (including loves at I-15/93 junction). Good grocery in Sinclair station, but of course convenience store prices. Good power so far, (99 degrees today, 50 amp service) Very Good Mexican Restaurant next door, even serves regular breakfast's. A Hair salon next door too. Plenty of room to maneuver into sites. Sites are close together,... Read More

We stayed 4 nights and was pleased with the park. All the hook ups worked, no problem. The camp host greeted us at 10:30pm nicely. The camp its self was well kept, felt safe and very conveniently located next to a grocer. The only draw back was it is farm country so there were flies to contend with and semis parked behind the park were a bit noisy. Neither of these things is enough to keep us from coming back. We do plan to come for another visit. I highly recommend this camp for anyone... Read More

We found the owner to be very helpful. This was our first trip with our trailer and he showed us how to work the furnace and he provided us with a cable cord so we could have electric hook up. The restrooms were very clean and we would definitely stay there again. The park is close to a gas station, grocery store and restaurant. Check it out.

We just stayed here for one night, arriving at almost 8 pm, but everyone was so considerate and helpful and went out of their way for us. We were very impressed and plan on coming back. A very positive experience!

Park is in an oasis in the desert town of Alamo. Nothing to look at but the staff was wonderful. Bathroom/showers are real bathrooms and laundry has 1 washer & dryer. Had a level gravel pull thru site. Gas station/store are a very short walk. Would stay here again if passing thru.

This was an interesting park. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Keeping that in mind it's a great respite. It is nothing to look at. In fact when we pulled in we were confused as to where the pull through sites actually were. The staff came out to help and get us situated. She was great. The bathrooms were great, the laundry as well. It's a pure gravel lot which was good and fairly level. The Mexican Restaurant next door was one of the best we've eaten at. Be sure to enjoy it if... This was a great place to stay for a night while driving through Nevada. Helpful staff, easy pull-through sites, VERY clean showers/bathrooms. It may not be the prettiest place, but it met all our needs and then some. Plus there's a great Mexican restaurant practically next door.

Perfect place to stop after a long day. We travel several times a year down SR93 on the eastern side Nevada. There are not many options to stop at and after Ely there is only one until Las Vegas that has hook-ups. Picketts is small and mostly a gravel parking lot. But after a 10 hour day it was perfect. Easy in and easy out. Full hookups. Very clean bathrooms and laundry if you need it. And super friendly staff. A nice little mexican restaurant a few doors down if you don't want to cook.... Very nice place. All gravel parking, but no stickers in gravel for dog to step on. We would stay there again. The staff was very, very nice. The restrooms were clean.

In the office and help with parking --- very friendly, chatty, informative people. Although a small, plain-Jane RV Park, it is a haven for us on a day with strong headwinds!! All necessary amenities: full hook-ups, easy pull-throughs if you want 'em, cable, strong wifi, and small but immaculate laundry facility and washrooms with BATHTUBS! What more does one need?? The park is level, all gravel --- no dirt which is great for keeping down the dust! --- some large shade trees. Store next door... Read More

Store next door creates a little noise with it's heat/air conditioning system, but it's not a problem. Of course, the running creek behind our rig makes it's own beautiful noise, and the dog loves being able to go in for a dip (bonus!) . All in all, a positive experience pulling in here.
