this was an easy off/on from highway 90. This campground is all remote check in, which was fine. The sites were plenty large for a 33 ft class A with a toad. Sites were not very level, but we could level up with jacks and block. Park was very quiet, and while it is not far from the highway or the train tracks we didn’t hear either. Our biggest disappointment was the amount and intensity of lights around the park. When we stopped here we were hopeful to see beautiful stars during the night,... Read More

We needed to stay in the Gillette area for a month (still here, and it has been 20 days so far). We pulled into the Gillette Walmart and took the toad to investigate the two RV parks inside Gillette. Not pleased, but then I found this one outside of town about 16 miles East. Park is set on a hillside so you have beautiful views of the Wyoming plains. Spaces are HUGE, all pull-throughs. I am guessing they are about 75' long and 30' wide. I believe there are about 20 spaces. 50A power has... Read More

Camp wi-fi is better than most, but that still means pretty slow. Trains are far enough away that they are pleasant to hear. You can see I-90, but it is 2-3 miles away. The little Post Office in Rozet is only a mile away and staffed by helpful folks. The only other things in Rozet are a bar and a school. We didn't try the bar. There is plenty of room to walk the dogs around. The laundry-restroom building was very clean when we explored it, altho we prefer to use our own facilities. After all, there are full hookups! Wash and Dry are each $1.50. Bring some quarters with you! All-in-all, a very peaceful and quiet stay...and the monthly price was less than in Gillette. Know that this is Wyoming, and there has been a lot of wind. Sounds like white noise after a while and has lead to pleasant sleeps.
