This park did not live up to its 9.5 rating at all! Check in was super easy - and we arrived late! And they extended our check out time so I could do my days work until 1pm. That part was terrific! But the park has had the drive thru blocked so you have to back in at awkward angles. There are many many full timers living there....and the guy next to us sported an ankle tracking monitor. The park is run down, and bathrooms were dirty. Felt kinda like we were in a episode of Pit Bulls and Parolee's... Read More

I would not recommend this location to anyone that wants anything more than a nights stop over.

This is our 2nd time at Marine RV Park, 2014 for a week and a half and a month this time, 2016. This is a quite park. We like to see the river from our unit. We do not have any pets, so did not find any problems with regards to our animals. Because we are visiting family while in town we like to fact the Park is in town, yet we have a river view. The Park is about 1/2 transients and 1/2 full time residents. The full time people keep their units in good condition, not a lot of junk around their... Read More

The Park is about 1/2 transients and 1/2 full time residents. The full time people keep their units in good condition, not a lot of junk around their units. While we were staying there the flood gate for the river had to be opened to let more water into the river. The campground manager called us as soon as they knew of the upcoming water release, 12 hours in advance. We moved our unit, our previous site filled with about 2 feet of water. Now we know why the office, bathrooms and laundry are on the second floor on pilings. We did not have any problems with the rising water, staff gave us plenty of notice, & canceled any additional campers until after the water release was done. The campsites near the river on are on a floor plain. Water level is controlled by Shasta Dam and another one up in the mountains. There is always notice before the water rises. Due to nearness to river there are ducks, geese and other birds at the campground. Laundry room is small, 4 washers and 2 dryers, is clean. Bathrooms had some work done while we were there, put in new toilets. Campground does not use their activity room.

I have to say, when we called to book our stay the women we spoke to was as sweet as pie but that is about the last nice thing I have to say about that dirty parking lot. As a fulltime family we visit tons and tons of facilities so believe me when I say pick ANY place other than this one. I think the worst thing about our stay was dealing with the grouchy lady who apparently is the "manager" worst costumer service we have received yet and she even threatened to call the police if she heard my 3... Yes it's true while my wife was putting pajamas on the 1 year old the three year old was running up and down the isle atleast until I came in and told my wife the police might come and remove our family at 9:00 at night. After the police threat she reminded me that she had the right to deny service to anyone. Well don't worry Marina RV Park I promise you don't have to worry about our giving you business ever again.

We found this park to be extremely accommodating to our needs. We had tow vehicle problems and needed to find a quick place to stay while our truck was repaired. I called while still on the road and altho they were going to be closed when we arrived, they left paperwork and an assigned site. They had plenty of room at the site (back-in). They did not hold us to the posted check out time because we weren't sure when the truck repair would be done. The park is nothing fancy, but the people made up... Read More

It is within walking distance of a couple restaurants and small store. Reasonably priced too and it's a Good Sam Park. There was a nice laundry room. We didn't need to use the restroom facilities, so i don't know how they were. We would stay again when passing thru the Redding area.
