We were very unimpressed with this site. We had a tiny narrow space marked out by faded white lines, with hook ups to the very rear. We had to reverse right up to the RV backed in behind us to hook up. We were on a gravel 'pitch' without grass or even a picnic table. We had no space to put our own table and chairs out, mind you the smell of sewage and the flies would have stopped us anyway. Worst thing was the neighbours from hell who appeared to live in the park and who just move pitch every... Read More

Worst thing was the neighbours from hell who appeared to live in the park and who just move pitch every 21 days, who screamed and shouted and threw things at eachother all day long. Just lovely for us on holiday with children. We only booked it online because it was the only park around. VERY disappointing end to our holiday in what seemed to be a really lovely town. The only good thing was the restrooms which were clean and seemed new.

The RV park is located within the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. The park has back-in and pull through full hook up sites. The driveways are asphalt and site pads are either grass or dirt/gravel. There's nothing special here but it's quiet with plenty of open space within the fairgrounds. There is WiFi which we found to be generally good and reliable. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. There's plenty of nearby shopping and there is a BART station not far... Gravel surface. Pull through is actually 2 sites. $60. Full hookups. Quiet. Nice person checks you in. Ugly surroundings but the only place around. Full hookups. No tv. Park is clean. Restrooms are good.

We stayed here for 6 days and enjoyed it. We had a back in site with 30 amp power and sewer. The spaces are wide so that even I, a novice RVer could back in easily. It rained for most of our stay, but even though the sites are gravel, it was level and we were comfortable. Should we come back to the Bay Area we will definitely stay here.

We were enroute from MS to WA. This was by far the most expensive and worst maintained park on our journey. Campsites were packed earth with rocks with weeds that hadn't been tended to in who knows how long. Sites had white spray painted lines that were so faded. Upon check in no one talked just asked for last name, gave a map, told about restroom deposit and then gave us a piece of paper to display at all times in our camper along with parking pass. We stayed here for a week while we visited relatives. We had space #140, a 30amp back-in that was in a muddy (it rained almost every day we were there) dirt area - no grass or concrete. The layout of the spaces is VERY tight. There was barely any space between the back of our RV and the person who was backed in behind us. We had to purchase a sewer hose extension to reach the hookup for our site. The hookup locations are very odd. Some campers had multiple cars & vehicles in/near their spots. While... Read More

The layout of the spaces is VERY tight. There was barely any space between the back of our RV and the person who was backed in behind us. We had to purchase a sewer hose extension to reach the hookup for our site. The hookup locations are very odd. Some campers had multiple cars & vehicles in/near their spots. While we were there several other RVs tried to get into a space next to us, but could not fit. Another RV tried to set up in a space 2 lots down, but couldn't reach the hookups. It is very very tight! There were a LOT of dogs. We could hear one barking inside the RV next to us each time his master left the area. Plus the dogs being walked morning and evening pee on EVERYTHING in sight, including RV wheels. We had to clean ours off a couple times - never saw who did it. We realize the park is the only one in the area, and we were willing to deal with some of the issues. Overall it was a safe and convenient place to stay. NOTE: the park DOES NOT HAVE CABLE TV available. They have receptacles, but there is no service. We had tried to get service, but were told by a neighbor that there was no cable available. It seems a shame that a park like this does not offer it, even if they had to charge extra. Also, if you want to use the restrooms/showers, you have to pay a refundable $20 deposit per key. In our case we needed a boy's & a girl's key. We wanted to get an early start on our day of departure, but had to wait til the office opened at 8AM to get our money back.
