Next to the I-5. Nice easy access and Rv spots. We would stay there again.

5 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/2023

From previous comments, I was afraid we were staying in a dive. However, the place was clean and the desk person was personable. Spaces were level and all spots were pull through so we did not have to unhook. We had great neighbors who were also travelling through. The surrounding area was not the cleanest or nicest, but the RV Park itself was nice. The feed lots were way to the north so there was no horrible smell.

Very nice RV campground. Stayed for one night -- surprised how quiet it was despite being just a short distance from I-5. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. I didn't rate the restrooms because we never went in them.

Great stopover on I-5. We were headed South and we will stopover again when we head North.

Nice, level, pull-thru sites. Clean restrooms, great laundry.

This is a great stop off 1/2 way to either NorCal or SoCal. Full hook ups. Level graveled spots. Seem to be all pull throughs. Very very close to I-5. We use this place to overnight quite frequently and have found it to be quiet and safe. I cannot comment on the pool nor the bathrooms because we didn’t use. Staff are friendly. Easy online check in. Can guarantee a site if you are particular. Thank you Almond Tree Resort!

Quiet park with friendly staff. It was pretty basic for a full hook up RV park. Some full timers. Laundry facility was clean. Dog ‘park’ was basically a wide run that was muddy and unappealing. Campers are pretty close together. I saw them clean the pool but the entry always said the pools were closed. I noticed some people took their dogs on poop walks in the pistachio grove. Showers in the West women’s bathroom smelled musty or moldy. I didn’t use them. Not sure how much ventilation they were... Read More

Showers in the West women’s bathroom smelled musty or moldy. I didn’t use them. Not sure how much ventilation they were getting. As far as an oasis, it is the only RV park for miles of the freeway. It seemed pretty expensive for a very large gravel lot with full hook ups.

This park is a pit stop overnighter. It's all gravel. Our site was fairly level. I didn't bother using my levelers. The hook-ups were fine. No cable. My first night, I had lousy over the air reception. On the way back, we stayed and the over the air reception was great??? The dog run was just dirt. It's maybe a mile from I-5, but I didn't hear any trucks. The tiny registration office had a small selection of RV necessities and snacks. Just outside of the park are two gas stations. One is over-priced,... Read More

Solid, reliable RV side of I-5. We’ve used 3 separate times already and is considered our stopover when we travel from NorCal to SoCal. Girls also enjoyed the pool!

What we liked: the convenience of the park— close to I5 but not too noisy (although the sites near the truck stop were noisier) pre online registration with just a quick stop in the office for site number good local TV reception (out of Fresno) and the pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. What could be improved: the entrance sign! Doesn’t have the official name just a big old sign with RV Park. A new pretty sign would make a big difference. And lack of dining choices - just a Subway and Baja... Read More

We stayed in a 27’ Lance travel trailer.

After hundreds of miles bumping along the less than stellar I-5 road conditions, we needed an overnight break. Wasn't sure what to expect in the area, but the park was overall fine. Pull through (thank you!), full hook-ups, level (gravel), picnic table, small store, but a Valero and Shell are next door. Shell is a mini-travel store, so things you might need are there besides gas. Little store in the RV park with a few rv needs (hoses, etc) if you are in need. Restrooms, showers, and laundry were... Would have been nice to have a noon checkout, but in the middle of nowhere, this RV park was good for a brief respite on our long trip. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly as well.

This was a perfectly adequate park for an overnighter to break up the Highway 5 drive. Pull-through, water/sewer/electricity all worked. Site was level. Park was big enough for the dog to stretch her legs. Pool looked nice. Laundry washer/dryer were in good working order. We would stay there again.

The host at this RV park was the rudest I encountered. I moved out of my spot by checkout time and was waiting to finish the laundry that cost $5 load when they told me I wasn’t allowed to use the facilities past check out. At hotels, you are welcome to stay the day so not sure why that doesn’t apply here. Also, never have had a problem like this.

Easy reservation system. Clean, level site. Easy access to I-5. Will stay again when traveling north/south.

Very clean level pull-thru sites with convenient access to highways, convenience stores and fuel. Quiet and pleasant. A bit dusty and little tree cover, but not too hot in November. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for day travel to Kings Canyon/Sequoia and Pinnacles National Parks. Good location between LA and San Francisco area.

We stayed here to break up our drive to Los Angeles. The grounds & pool were clean. We felt safe during our stay. We had very high winds, because of dust from neighboring farms, we stayed in our RV during our stay. RV parking was on gravel and was not level. Both bathrooms needed updating and the west one is discussing and needs repairs from the ground up. However, it appears they are doing renovations to the property. We would stay here again but just one night, as it would only be to rest before... Read More

Have stayed at this RV park 4 several yrs now. It appears that it has changed owners and they have really cleaned up the place. I wish there was more grass but water is restricted and expensive. Will continue to stay there. The people in the office were helpful and kind.

They redid the park and seems like the spaces are small ! You have little room for a slide out . Then when you go to dump your tanks ? The Dump pipe is higher then your hose makes it very difficult and messy when you dump ! Then parking ! This got me ! The put people with multiple vehicles next to you and Let The Park within A Foot of your Trailer ? Then when you ask about it with the park they (the Man) who answered the phone gets extremely mad and says they have no parking and pretty much hangs... Read More

The icing on the cake was when I went to leave and unplugged my unit Their Power Box had arced at some point and fused my power plug to my surge protector and fried my main power cord ! Their breakers never tripped nor did my surge protector? It is ok for overnight sleep and go but to stay and work locally I wouldn’t advise it !

Easy on/off I-5, great stopover park! Which is just what I needed. Easy to park my rv. . Gas station and convenience store next door. I stopped and got gas before pulling into camp, made for any easy leave in the morning. Thank you Almond Tree oasis, for being a great overnight stop.

Strictly an overnight layover right off I-5 about 10 miles south of Harris Ranch. The campground is populated by a couple dozen permanents, who keep their area relatively clean, although there were lots of barking dogs kept in outside corrals. The sites are dirt/gravel and are ridiculously close together, neighbors FHU literally 3 feet from our front steps. Wouldn't be horrible as the transient side of the park was half full, but instead of placing people in every other, they cram every new arrival... Read More

We stayed 2 nights so saw this phenomenon repeat. Pretty aggravating with sewer hose in front yard and no place to sit out due to neighbors with empty sites visible all around. There is a pool and dog run. WiFi exists but too slow to use. Bathhouse was clean and close. Harris Ranch, a steakhouse and gift shop, is the only show in the area. Very good steaks.

Stopped to break up the trip to LA, typical reason to come here. Simple, easy access to long concrete pads, full hookups, discount for cash ($39). Great for California. Site worked just fine for me, didn't have to unhook the tow, stayed the night and off again, no muss no fuss. Internet is satellite, so dismal speed but worked OK. I didn't expect any more and it was OK for my needs. I didn't use/look

This park is located just off Interstate 5 at the exit for Coalinga, CA, more or less halfway between LA and San Francisco. They have pull through sites with full hook ups (50 amp electric). The driveways are asphalt with fairly narrow gravel site pads, however, there is not much effort being put into maintaining the grounds. There are weeds growing mostly everywhere. There is free WiFi but we found it to be either completely unavailable or of no real use. They have two small swimming pools... Read More

We stopped over on the way home and did get a rest and I finally got the internet to connect after an hour working at it. Tried to take a shower at the one restroom and the pressure was much too low and water never did get warm. So had to "spit" bath it. Wife had the same problem & others complained about the same thing. It has a very large but old restroom and shower stalls that I wish I could have used. The place is really old and dilapidated.
