Appeal Rating Rio del Sol is an older facility but it is smaller, which we really loved and sits right on the Colorado River with lots of public access and docks to the river. there are lots of off-road trails along the river. Tons of people return to this RV resort every year so there is a pretty cool community. There are tons of daily activities for every interest, loved meeting great friendly people!!! The managers are very friendly and very accomodating to your needs. We loved it so much we are planning to return next year and stay longer!!!

Appeal Rating Winter time this campground feels like a 55+ park. We were there for the month of November, enjoyed their Thanksgiving Celebration. Several types of activities/games happen each day, no evening activities. Restrooms were plain, but could be accessed by someone using a walker if they are not too short. Shower floors are flat, so is the doorway floor. The light switch, clothes hooks & shower knobs are somewhat up in the air. The club house is not fancy, but we enjoyed our time using it. Laundry room was not fancy, but worked fine, had a small stool so short people could access the top dryers. We like the fact the campground is recycling. CRV plastic and AL cans are collected. They plan to use the proceeds for club house activities. They also collect old plastic bags at several locations in the park so people can use the bags to clean up after their pets. WIFI at the Cyber Cafe was strong, at our campsite, not so much. Cell service was poor, because the campground is in a valley, no matter your cell carrier, unless you could get a signal between the hills the reception was limited. I walked from our trailer to the area by the boat ramp, there I could get a signal. We liked this campground, not fancy, but very pleasant. Many folks come for the winter months every year, although many knew each other for years we felt welcome. Like many areas in the SW the water quality is fair. We would stay at this campground again. We liked this campground overall, individually some aspects were just OK but the total package was more than just the rather plain showers, nice but not fancy club house etc. I suspect this is a very different campground in the summer months, younger campers with children and many "toys" for water sports.
