Mountain Shadow RV Park is in a very beautiful setting, the prettiest RV park we’ve ever stayed in, and well worth a visit. We were here in May on our way to Alaska and also in July on our return trip. In May, the snow-topped mountain was breath-takingly beautiful! The grounds are well maintained, and we especially appreciated the gravel road on our way out, since it snowed in May. The RV area is gravel, and typical of any RV park however, the large meadow with a lake and a surrounding mountain is beautifully unique. There is only one bathroom for each sex, but it was never a problem for us, since most RVers seem to use their own restrooms. For some reason water pressure was low on my first trip to the restroom, but on the next trips the pressure was fine, and the shower pressure was fine. The weather was hot on our return trip, and we didn’t have AC on our truck camper, so we chose to camp in the lovely, secluded, and shady tree area without hookups. On our first visit, there was a cost for internet access, which is understandable, since there are no services on the Cassiar Highway. But on our return trip, the first hour was free, since the owners saw that the cost and usage was less than what they had anticipated - which showed us that the owners really do care about their customers and try to improve conditions for all of us. We highly recommend a stay here.

This was a nice well kept small campground. Sites were spacious enough. It was a bit of a challenge driving down the hill into the park. Beautiful view of mountains, nice lake with a path you can walk to. No cable or TV Wi-Fi was very spotty. Water pressure was low. It is a good place to stop for a night to just relax and re charge.
