Need to know about River Run Resort and Recreation
Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check in at 2 pm. - Check out at 11:30 am. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. River Run Rules - No glass containers of any kind are allowed on the creek, and especially not on the river. - For your information. - I am not an attorney, however, it is a misdemeanor to do so in Arkansas, and it has a $500 fine or 30 days, and each container is considered a separate offence. - So it will most likely be the most expensive six-pack you will ever drink. Fire Rings - We have fire rings and picnic tables for each site; use them. - Don’t move them around. Pet Policy - Maximum of 2 pets per site, no large breed dogs, they must have current vaccinations, and you must have documentation if it is asked for. - Pets must be on leashes at all times and supervised by an adult. - Don’t send your 2-year-old out to walk the dog. Fireworks - No fireworks due to fire and physical hazards. Life Guards -No lifeguards on duty at any time, so swim at your own risk. Vehicle - No ATVs , dirt bikes, 3 wheelers , 4 wheelers . - However, you may have them on trailers, but they must be well secured at all times Generators - No generators. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are 10 pm until 8 am. River Run Policies - Our prices are all inclusive, meaning water, electricity, and septic hookups. - However, we monitor your power usage, and if it becomes excessive, we will charge you a market rate per kWh. - However, we are very generous with our power usage allowances and have not charged anyone extra since we opened (approximately 3 years ago). - By staying here, you are agreeing to our liability policies. - You will be asked to sign on upon arrival, and for convenience's sake, whoever signs the hard copy(or makes the reservation) is in effect signing for the entire group. - Basically, it states that we have to do something incredibly stupid before you have a chance to sue us, and we are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or much of anything else, regardless of fault. (legal jargon poopie) - Be out of your spot or pay extra fees, and just like a hotel, we do keep credit cards on file for incidentals. - In general, we don’t allow early check-in. - However, we do have space for you to wait, and there are local restaurants and such where you can wait as well. - We charge a $30 deposit for each pet and clean up after them. - Poopie in plastic bags and dispose of properly. - In short, be courteous and you get your deposit back; if not, yes, we will keep your pet deposit. Cleanliness - Keep your site clean and be a good neighbour. - Clean up your site before you depart or we may asses a cleaning fee. Vehicle - We don’t have the infamous 10-year rule in place; however, we require that all vehicles be in good condition both cosmetically. - And mechanically. - I will not tolerate anything like, for example, leaky septic hose connections or much of anything else like duct tape around windows or window air conditioners. - In general, anything I or our guests may consider trashy. Firewood - Don’t bring firewood from out of state. - As this runs the risk of transporting unwanted insects, such as pine or spruce beetles, across state lines. - Depending upon our suppliers, we try to keep an adequate supply of firewood for sale, and we are very competitive on our prices Property - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on our property and or using our facilities. - Be considerate of everyone else, have a good time, and enjoy yourself. - And we should have no issues. Speed Limit - Observe our posted speed limits of 10 miles per hour. Guest - We have guests of all ages on our properties at all times, and we will not tolerate any violations that are safety-oriented.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
