We picked this spot last minute & I'm so glad! We stayed 2 nights and had to move spots since we were late to the party, but it worked out great! We got to see 2 different areas of the upper level, and we loved them both. Overall, the park feels very cozy, tucked snug between trees and against the dells. Due to COVID protocols, I didn't get to meet any of the office staff in person, but I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms by the office were amazing (granite countertops... The bathrooms by the office were amazing (granite countertops even) and super clean. The wifi is very good (no streaming), and stable, as is Verizon reception. Indeed the park is gravel, so I could see how dust - or potentially mud during monsoon season - but we didn't have either, and the roads and site markers were big enough for our class A + tow'd. There are tons of walking/hiking areas in the dells and to the lake. Dogs + humans loved it! It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Prescott.

The entry was a little scary since it is on a busy two lane with a suicide center lane which is also on a hill and curve. Take it slow and you should be ok. It is a dirt road and we heard many RV bottom out, so as I said, take it slow. Dirt was a common theme in this park as there was no concrete patios and only dirt roads. Everything needed to be washed when we left, but there was no point on doing it there. But, had many trees throughout and the rock formations were nice as was the hiking.... Read More

There was a small lake to hike to and while we were there, there was a festival in the park by the lake. When there is an event, this park will be full. Our site was suppose to be a premium site, but by their own definition, it was not. They did comp us the differences. It was difficult to situate our 27' trailer and we were unable to use our awning. Sewer hook ups were difficult if there is more than one hose. Shopping, restaurants, etc required a good drive. We were having problems with our Dometic refrigerator, so we had to trek to the store every day. Finding service in this area to fix this problem was difficult. Dometic needs to address this, but that's another review. Prescott is a great place to take a break from the heat of the valley, but a week stay in this city is enough. There was no club house, small laundry room and the restrooms were not always locked. The laundry room and restrooms/baths were clean. We felt the amenities were not equal to the expense and will probably look for other options when we return to Prescott. A better price would make it more attractive.

Comfortable place to stay, very friendly management, spaces are quite level so easy to setup, No TV connection, established trees and shrubs, near town and services. We have stayed here for a number of years in a row and seem to stay longer each year. Good place to stay.
