One of our favourite parks! Always a 5 star experience, even with COVID restrictions.
A beautiful walking path and off leash dog park right next door, and the town has lots of unique shops and cafes.

Only stayed one night (weekday) as we passed though the area but this campground is one of our favourites. Access off of the highway is great, and maneuvering our 35' 5th wheel once in the campground was not a problem. Site was clean, very well maintained, spacious, and long enough that we were able to keep the truck and trailer connected overnight with room to spare. Staff were courteous and pleasant, made us feel very welcome. The adjacent river walk is spectacular and access is only a few moments from the campground. Don't pass this one up!

Appeal Rating Stayed for 4 nights. Gorgeous, clean park, great location with easy access to any shopping needs. Wi-Fi service very poor, lucky to get a half hour connection once/day, rest of the time it would just cut out. Very nice walking / cycling path adjacent to the park and the Bow River, off-leash dog park for park on town users. Didn't use the washrooms so only gave that a 3. Nice kids playground. Sites are spacious & clean & all have privacy hedges.
Would certainly stay here again.

This is a beautiful campsite in a small community near Calgary. We have stayed here a number of times over the past 10 years while visiting family and friends in Calgary. There are not a lot of family facilities, except for a playground that our grandchildren enjoy. The site is very clean and the setting along the Bow River is excellent with lots of pathways to explore. Unlike many campsites the free internet actually works well.

Appeal Rating We are full time in our Class A Motorhome and always enjoy coming to Cochrane when we arrive back from points South for the winter. This is our 3rd SnowBird arrival this year and with all the Covid concerns relating to our arrival - BREC was great - we had water delivered on a regular basis when we first arrived in late March they made sure we maintained our quarantine The staff are always wonderful - helpful, courteous and friendly. As Spring finally started to arrive the grounds were very well maintained, grass was cut and trees were trimmed and beautiful flowers were planted.
We will be back for sure! Cochrane has all the amenities that you might need and is a great Western Town.

Absolutely one of the best RV Parks that we have stayed in. The sites (a combination of back-in and pull-thru) measure up to 75 feet. Each site is well laid out and spacious, has a level gravel pad, a nice patch of mature grass, a large solid picnic table, a solid, safe fire pit and is surrounded by well manicured, established hedges.
The location on the Bow River is beautiful and gives ready access to miles of trails for walking, biking, etc.
The staff are very friendly and everything about the buildings and grounds is immaculate. These people care about their property and their guests.

Access to the park is good. The roads are paved all the way. Signage is adequate. The park was easy to find but you do have to drive through the town to get to the park.
The park office is at the entrance. Check in parking is well marked. The office doubles as a small convenience store and next door is the laundromat. We did not check in at the office as all was handled by phone and e-mail. We chose this park to carry out our 14 day Self Isolation period (due to COVID 19) as we had just crossed back into Canada. The park operators did a very good job spacing us away from other guests that were Self Isolating as well.
Our site, 82, was easy to find even without directions or a map. It was a pull through that was just long enough for our rig and towed. Service were to the left side. The site was gravel with an area of grass. Of course, during our stay everything was covered with snow. We did not have any immediate neighbors but during the normal season a neighbor would be very near. Amenities were 15/30/50 Amp Power, Water (in season) Sewer Table, Firepit and Wifi. No cable TV but we were able to pick up lots of OTA. Wifi was very strong even though we were far from the office. Other reviews noted that the farther from the office the poorer the signal. We noted a recent installation of Wifi antennas. I doubt if anyone will have problems now.
We chose this park because we were allowed book, pay and interact by remote. We were close to shopping and other amenities that we might need for our two week stay. We also knew there was an off leash dog park right beside the park. That gave us the opportunity to walk our dog and get some fresh air for ourselves as well. All in all, this park was near perfect for our isolation stay.
We paid $697.30 total for our two weeks. That included the additional charge for the dog ($1.00 per day) reservation charges and taxes. That worked out to $49.80 per day. We would return if in the area again.

Appeal Rating Whether you are staying 1 night or 1 week, or longer this is an amazing campground. Large pull-through sites with full hookup and some back in. The washrooms are clean and bright, laundry facilities on site are well maintained The grounds are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. There are some full time campers, but their sites are well maintained. We start and finish our camping season here every year since we purchased our trailer. You are next to the river and theres a sports complex next door. Lots of walking and biking paths as well as a short drive to all that Cochrane has to offer, including Cochrane ice cream. I know we'll be there to start our season next year.

Appeal Rating Campground well maintained, a little hard to find and tons of home and apt. construction all around the campground so noisy and dusty during day. Even with construction would have given 5 stars but ran into a "shower loonie" situation I'd never heard of or seen before, and definitely not a fan. Seems this campground has pay showers...and for 5 minutes of shower time you put in two Canadian "loonies" (dollar coins). We have a shower in our motor home but I sometimes like the extra space in a campground shower. This campground charges for showers, yet if I shower in RV at campsite, I'm still using their electricity (heat water) and water, and all I want---not 5 minutes worth. Whether I shower in our RV or in their facility, logic indicates to me the expense is virtually the same for campground, or maybe even less if not in RV. Don't understand the pay "loonie shower" logic other than to rip off campers. Much as I liked the campsite and was willing to overlook all the heavy construction mess, will DEFINITELY not be back to this loonie place... Too bad what I consider to be a poor management decision ruined any future stays by us...

Appeal Rating We arrived at around 12 noon. Check in time is 1pm. Although our site had been empty for at least a day before we arrived, according to our relatives that arrived the day before, we were not allowed to enter the site until 1:00 pm as the site is being "cleaned". We walked into the site. It was vacant and clean. We returned to the office and said it looked clean to us. The woman there said no one is allowed to enter their site until 1 pm NO EXCEPTIONS. So instead of being able to set up on our site and have our lunch, we had to sit around in a parking spot along with a half a dozen other RVers who arrived before the arbitrary 1 pm. Many parks and RV campgrounds have check in times, but all that I have encountered will let you into your site before check in time if it has been vacated. This RV Campground's RULE isn't very customer friendly. At the very least, their website should say NO EXCEPTIONS before 1 pm. Then I may have made alternate arrangements for my arrival time. I will not come here again and would caution anyone wanting to stay here about this very unaccommodating rule.
Otherwise it is a well maintained and very regulated campground.

Appeal Rating Bow Riversedge CG was one of the top 5 campgrounds we have ever stayed at, and we have stayed in hundreds of campgrounds around the US and Canada over the past 8 years. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the campsites are clean and poop-free, the grass is cut regularly, a bike path is 50 feet out a closed gate, and the Bow River is 200 feet away. Groceries and all services are nearby. What's not to like???

Nice, newer, clean park. Good for big rigs. Plenty of room for our 38 foot with tow. Taller trees on both sides for privacy. Very nice off leash dog area. Nice, clean laundry - pricey ($3 Canadian per load) A bit difficult to find, as it is at the end of a road, behind a sports complex.

Appeal Rating We stayed at BRE several times this past summer, but September was our last stay. We are repeat customers because we thoroughly enjoy our stays here.
The sites are landscaped very nicely providing some privacy and all of them have grass and gravel for the RV. They are a little narrow, but still room to move around with slides on both sides of the RV. The location of the fire pits in some of the sites is inconvenient - closer to the road rather than really in your site - but it's a small complaint. No major roads around it, so the campground is very quiet in the evening.
One of the nicest features is the location to the Bow river and a beautiful walking path and off leash area for dogs. We've walked this path many times and never tire of it. Watching the dogs running and playing on the path is also very entertaining! A huge rec centre is also nearby - easy walk.
There is a building with BBQs, tables, chairs and a large grassy area that can be rented for large groups, family reunions, etc. for group gatherings, meals, entertainment, etc.
The staff are friendly and professional. The grounds are really well cared for and the washrooms are exceptionally clean.
Two thumbs up for this park for sure!

Appeal Rating This is a beautifully maintained park on the edge of the Bow River (as the name suggests). Each site has a grass area, extra gravel parking for the tow vehicle and guest, a picnic table and fire pit. The sites are separated by shrubs and trees. The sites could be wider but units with slides on both sides will fit on the gravel pads leaving adequate room for the picnic table, awning, lawn chairs, and BBQ. The best feature of this park is the distance from any busy roads (it is at the end of a street) and is sided by an industrial yard and a rec center (so very quiet at night) and the river. Between the river and the park fence is a paved walking trail and off-leash dog park. Our dog loves the freedom to run, snoop and meet new four-legged friends. There is good access to the river downstream from the RV park. A visit to Cochrane Ranch historic site and to MacKays Ice Cream are recommended if you visit the area.

Appeal Rating We just completed a five and a half week, 15 state and 1 province trip. This was by a considerable margin the finest RV park we stayed in. We did not have reason to use the restrooms, but I checked them out and they are immaculate. The property is adjacent to the Bow River and there is a very nice walking/biking trail along the river. We had a full hookup site which had lovely greenery separating it from the next sites.
