We stayed one night and after traveling all day it was a very nice place to stay, it was clean, quiet and the owner was really friendly. Even got a escort to our campsite. You dont get that very often, We will stay here again if we are in the area and need a nice place to park.

Comfortable and quiet, though just off I 90. Staff was friendly and helpful for our one night stay.

This park is very nice, relaxing & quiet. The owners are great & super helpful. I highly recommend staying here, whether it is just for 1 night or longer.

I thought this campground was perfect! Very nicely laid out. Easy access from the highway although we heard no highway noise! Very quick and pleasant check in service. We did not use the restroom, so I cannot really comment there, but everything else was just fine. We used this stop while traveling, we were here for me night!

Nice shady spots. One night stopover on the way home. Really quiet campground except for the camper next door. Large Dog barked constantly to where we couldn't enjoy sitting outside it was a beautiful evening. Wish we could of sat outside and enjoyed it..The camper owner never once told it to be quiet. Showers were nice and hot. We used the laundry facilities., couldn't believe how quick our clothes dried. Price is less than anywhere I've seen. Would definitely stay here again.

The owners are awesome, very helpful. Sites are large, with beautiful shade trees. We had 2 teenage grandsons with us and they had a blast in the pool.

Friendly greeting and escort to site, which are gravel. Off season stay, not sure how the rating is so high, as I would say this campground is just ok for an overnight stay. Clean surroundings, restrooms need updating. Moderate highway noise. We had rain overnight and woke up to ankle deep water outside camper, so site needed regrading. It worked for what we needed, but not a destination site.

Located on dirt road on outskirts of Mitchell. Small campground with many seasonal campers. When we were there, they'd had over 2" of rain the previous night so roads were muddy with little ditches to drain the water. Quiet, little traffic. Close enough to Mitchell for shopping and visiting The Corn Palace. Restrooms very clean and well-stocked, owners very friendly and helpful. Would return.

Stopped at Dakota Campground in Mitchell, SD. Stayed in spot 57. They did not guide us to our spot. There was a playground next to our spot. This is a kid friendly campground. We were very pleased with the park and it was a great value.

We have been here a few times. The sites are nice, level and wide. Never an issue with water or electric. Quick and simple check-in. We use our own bathroom facilities so can't comment on the restrooms. We had solid Verizon Wifi and didn't use anything the park would offer. Interstate noise was nil and no trains. There are many trees so satellite signals were non-existent. I am sure that visitors who complain about no satellite signal are equal in numbers who complain about no shade. The campground... The campground owners can't win with respect to trees... Our concern was the roads. They are gravel and dirt. Our fear was how soupy it would get should it rain. It rained (monsoon) but the roads drained quickly and what we thought would be soup was hard packed and you could barely see tire tracks. We shall return.
